Rhode
Island Legislature Supports NGARI
Our congratulations and thanks go out
to LTC Anthony DeFusco. His hard work and
ability to professionally present the NGARI
legislation up on "the hill" was a
major contributing factor to this years
success. In addition to the new
law that reimburses deployed soldiers for
SGLI, this years legislature passes many
other important Guard related bills. Find

Rhode
Island National Guard OPEN
HOUSE/AIR SHOW
Each year the National
guard Association Sponsors this event. Our
membership has help contribute to the
success of this event for over 10 years. Over
100,000 people attend the show annually, one
of the largest public events held in Rhode
Island each year.
Since its inception, the show has
raised over $1.0 Million Dollars for the
Children’s Hospital and thousands more for
other local charities.
In 1996 the Rhode Island National
Guard Open House & NGARI Air Show was
honored to receive the Dick Schram award
from the International Council of Air Shows
as the most outstanding Airshow in North
America for community service.
